I am one of “those” people. I can’t seem to help myself. I am I am what happens to attention deficit kiddos. It’s my blog, you see….And when Dr. Jack cured my brain fog? well….. I get bored looking at it the same way. And then I start thinking that if I find it boring to look at, I am sure others do, too. Since my head now fires ideas at lightning speed, I need to have lots of things to occupy my mind. I enjoy every minute of that compared to having to write notes to keep track of my life. This rocks!
As far as my blog goes, I don’t worry about what to write about. My head has a million ideas in here. The writing part is easy. I start a bunch of blogs and just revisit the one that suits my day. That’s not the problem.
It’s the theme….. I want….something…… more ..well, just MORE! Like…..colorful….. Cute! But not overly cute so it looks like a kid made it. However, I need more colors! More options! More patterns in the background. More sunshines! More flowers! More! More happy! Joyful!
But…. at the same time, I don’t want it looking too amateurish, because who is going to take me seriously? And yet, I just want cheerful! If you know me in real life, that is no shocker. My classroom is nothing but coloros and patterns. They don’t call me Martha Stewart for nothing! I hated the way my desk looked… made it a fabric cover. Hated the industrial cabinets? Contact paper. Ugly door? No problem made a felt mural!
Hello,Wordpress! You need to make a few new themes for people like me. I get that I am not just a square peg but more octagonal trying to fit into a teeny round hole. But there have to be more of me in the world!
So I spent an hour searching? Did you notice I changed the background on my page? I really wanted to do a shamrock theme background. You can’t do that….phooey!
What’s my favorite color? Every single one in the box! And that better be the mega pack with the sharpener!
Originally, when I switched themes, I made the background to match Dr. Jack’s logo. But then I got tired of the same look so I changed the color to Kelly green. Hello, my last name is O’Connell! And although there isn’t an ounce of Irish blood in me, well, I still like it to look holiday ish. Living in South Buffalo all my life, a huge Irish Catholic neighborhood, it is completly acceptable to decorate with shamrocks year round! I thought for Easter I might go purple. But that is not enough of a change, lol… I need more! I want …. cute! Lol stripes, colors, little patterns.

So this morning, after walking my daughter’s dog, I thought I would look for a new theme…. again. I looked at pages and pages, and then typed “cute” in the search. Yeah, not helpful. Then I tried “colorful.” Nope no luck….. sigh…. why are all of these boring?
If you come back regularly? And in a day you see it change five or six times, you will totally understand. That’s what happens when your brain fog clears. Lol….
