Supplements….don’t leave home without them!

SupplementsPeople are always asking me about supplements, does my doctor recommend them.  Do you take certain ones? Are some better than others?

Absolutely! I might forget something at home, but never do I leave without my Baggie of supplements.  The supplements Dr. Jack recommends are amazing! They have health benefits that are great!  I don’t get sick anymore, my skin improved, I have no digestive issues at all.  I absolutely love them, and I can see the benefits they provide.  I used to be terrible taking vitamins, always forgetting mostly because I didn’t see or feel any effects from them.  But these?  I can tell immediately that they are working and long term you notice health changes that are so relieving.

Dr. Jack has done extensive research into the companies that he deals with.  I know that the supplements he advises are quality and that they are not filled with all kinds of unnecessary materials.  They go down easily and they don’t leave after tastes like many over the counter ones I tried.

He just started uploading information about these and doing videos about them individually.  I have watched some several times, taking notes because every day is a chance to learn new things to make yourself healthier!   Check out his YouTube channel!

Where I am today….

butterfly-1127666_1920Thank you for visiting my site and reading my blog.  My name is Christine O’Connell and my site is about my journey and my struggles with Hashimoto’s Disease.  It is all about how I went from feeling like the biggest weight loss failure,  and the poster girl of Hashimoto’s, to having lost 60 pounds, since October 5, 2015, still going strong,  and symptoms that have disappeared.

I owe all my success to Dr. Jack Saia, partnertohealth.com.    He has saved me.   I have worked with Dr. Jack totally through the internet, by email and phone calls, and had never actually met him in person until January.  He was hosting a live seminar and I asked to meet him because I just wanted to talk to him, to look at him and tell him to his face how grateful I am that he took me as a patient.

Am I a real person?

Last night, Dr. Jack had his live seminar. It was  a very nice group of people and he had asked me, kindly, if I would come and tell some of my story.   I did that for him last month, too.   It is not the easiest thing in the world for me to do.  I am a teacher, used to standing in front of middle school students and teaching every day, but stand in front of a group and discuss my dieting failures, and how I found success….. well that is a little out of my comfort zone.

You find out a lot about your friends, and about yourself.

I didn’t tell a whole lot of people in the beginning of my journey.  I had been such a failure at everything else I tried, that I only confided in my children, my best friend, and my doctor who gave me the go ahead.  I was nervous that I would fail at this, too, and I just didn’t want to see the “looks” I always got.  I couldn’t do that again.

Big leaps of faith…

Last night I got an email from Kathy.  She is Dr. Jack’s office manager.  Over the last few weeks, she has helped me to understand so much about writing a blog.  I learned all kinds of new words like domain, and information about finding a host server.  She patiently waited as I worked through, building, destructing, rebuilding, modifying and my picky perfection tactics.

Christmas Eve and the Gift…

I had been with Dr. Jack since October 5th, and more than anything, I had wanted to lose 40 pounds.  Originally he had asked me what my goal was and that is what I named.  Both of us knew I needed to lose more than forty pounds, so he asked me why I had named that my goal.   “If I can lose forty pounds in the first twelve weeks, then I will know it is working and I can keep going.”
